Avalon trotted in beside a bay colt. The youngster's orbs scanned the terra in silence. He was saddened for he had barely gotten to know his mother and sister, and perhaps never would. The only reason for this was that Bellum was part of an all mare herd, and Riku was male. Avalon let out a whinny calling for his only mare, Essence. The stag reached out his crania and nuzzled the small colt gently.

Essence trotted up and couldn't help but notice the foal. She nodded and looked at her king, blue eyes like water looking into His.
